Twin yurt ‘Zhyldys’
This twin yurt was produced by Zhyldys and her crew. Zhyldys is a remarkable woman who runs a felt studio in Bokonbaevo, on the south shore of the Issyk-Kul Lake. The studio provides work and income for many women in the villages. This yurt has two single beds.
Nazyra came to Belzhan with her husband to find the best spot for the yurt they made together: he cut and painted the wooden sticks, she took care of the felt and the ornaments. The yurt has one double and three single beds.

Dirk’s cottages
Dirk Jan Schaap designed the twin cottages for Belzhan. They are located in the back of the garden and offer a lot of privacy. The cottages were build by Dutch vounteers together with a construction brigade from Grigorievka. Both cottages have a double bed. One cottage has a washbasin.
Gidus’ Tower
The tower is designed by Gidus Hopmans, a Dutch architect, who came to Belzhan with a group of volunteers to help build the Yurt Lodge. The tower rises in the garden. Through the wooden hatches it offers a view of the lake on village and the surrounding area. There are two single beds on the second, and one on the third floor. On the ground floor ther eis a shower and a washbasin.
Outdoor kitchen
The kitchen is the heart of the lodge. Here you can meet other guests, enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner, or just have a coffee or herbal mountain tea. Upon request, Samara can serve you a real cappuccino
